Not sure about other people's preferences but Ning is much more flexible than blogger, it allows photo collections, forums, blogs and would give each of us our own page to talk about our individual project approaches.
Yeah I can see the benefits I just really don't like ning, its too scatty and I struggle to find what is new information! But I am willing to go with what everyone else wants
